The meeting was convened by Dr. Rakesh Shukla in the absence of Dr. K Ravishankar who had to go to USA for a Headache meeting. |

| Seven members of the Subsection - Dr. V. Natarajan, Dr. Sudhir Ranjan, Dr. BK Pankaj, Dr. Pratap Sanchatee, Dr. A. Khajamohaideen, Dr. S. Narayanaswamy, Dr. Rakesh Shukla attended the meeting. | |||

Dr. Rakesh Shukla welcomed the members and it was decided unanimously that the same office bearers should continue (Dr. Ambar Chakarvarty as the President of the Subsection and Dr. K Ravishankar as the Secretary of the Subsection and also as the National Representative to the IHS). |

The members were apprised that the IAN guidelines for the Management of Common Neurological Disorders that are in preparation. |

Four interesting cases (Migraine aura without headache, Migraine without aura with subarachnoid hemorrhage due to ruptured PCA aneurysm, Solitary intraventricular neurocysticercosis presenting as status migrainous, cerebral venous sinus thrombosis presenting as subarachnoid hemorrhage) were discussed. |

The members were also informed that JAPI is bringing out a supplement on the Management of Migraine with Dr. Ravishankar as Guest editor. |
